With the last of the Thanksgiving leftovers finally out of our fridge, we can turn our attention to the upcoming holiday festivities in earnest. Parties, family get-togethers, church dinners and office celebrations are things we look forward to each year. This year, why not try something different for your next party that includes serving wine? While the little wine tags are cute and often festive, they are sometimes expensive and end up getting lost. I found several ways to put a twist on keeping everyone’s wine glass separate…and special.
A simple ribbon and a holiday gift tag add a bit of sparkle to the party and you can use the blank name tag for an “ice breaker” game to get everyone acquainted.
Or…you could go “fancy” and have a glass artist etch each guests glass in a unique pattern…letting your guest choose their favorite when they arrive (and keep for a gift?).
You don’t have to limit yourself to the traditional red and green…gold or even purple ribbons are suitable and add pizzazz to your glasses
One of the fastest and most economical ways to help guests tell their glasses apart is to buy several sheets of the 3-D holiday scrapbook stickers and allow your guest to choose a sticker for their glass for the evening (also serves as an ice breaker!).
So…whatever your plans are for the upcoming weeks…have fun…take care of your guests and remember what it’s all about. Cheers!
