Vineyard Details
These vineyards yield rich fruit forward wines characteristic of the terroir. Pope Valley vineyards are located in the North-Eastern hills of the Vaca Mountains in a town called Pope Valley within the Napa Valley Appellation. The soil is a pleaston loam with areas of a Bressa-Dibble complex. Pope Valley is a warm growing climate with cool evenings and mornings which allow the grapes to hang on the vine long enough to ripen to their fullest potential and cool enough at nights to develop complex varietal aromas.
