DAY 1: Buenos Aires

Upon your arrival you will be met by your professional driver and an English-speaking guide for a private transfer to the Alvear Art Hotel from your designated point of entry to Buenos Aires. Your guide will assist with check-in. A chilled bottle of bubbles welcomes you to your luxurious Junior Suite.

DAY 2: Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is where it all happens, and we want you to immerse yourself in its beauty, history, and sheer radiance. Enjoy a private guided, half-day panoramic tour, discovering the rich parks and open spaces of the Northern Neighborhood and the eye-catching buildings and grounds of Palermo and Recoleta, in the comfort of a private vehicle. After being picked up from your hotel, you’ll be driven to the Obelisk; a distinct symbol of the city. After that, you will visit different squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, Plaza del Congreso and some of the main avenues such as Corrientes, de Mayo, and 9 de Julio. Enjoy views in the historical neighborhoods of La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat and the elegant neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta, and the modern Puerto Madero. Breathe in the fresh air as you pass through parks such as Lezama, Tres de Febrero and the Ecological Reserve. En route you will also get to visit financial and commercial areas and Soccer Stadiums. At the end of your tour you will be dropped back at your hotel.

It is an embracing and sophisticated show to experience the pleasure of the tango up to its most minimum details, its harmonic melodies, its rhythm and the feelings and colors coming to live in the dance. Witness a professional performance, offered to a limited VIP audience. Rojo Tango show takes care of every little detail so that you can experience the essence of Tango. Dancers wear unique costumes, a result of thorough research and an updated innovation in fabrics, embroideries and colors.

The hairdos are visually important and match every detail of the costumes and dance. The special lighting enhances the dance’s different nuances. Enjoy a fantastic dinner as you see the show. Return to your hotel afterwards.

DAY 3: Buenos Aires

This bike tour with your private English-speaking guide is without doubt the most interesting and entertaining way to get to know Buenos Aires. Learn about its history while riding on the bike paths and experiencing the bustling surroundings. You will visit the main quarters: El Puerto, la Reserva Ecológica, La Boca, San Telmo, Plaza San Matrín and much, much more. Your guide will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel.

The Dinner Experience is designed to give you an introduction to the best of Argentine cuisine and culture. This is not a cooking class, but a fun experience where you will meet and dine with people from all over the world. You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to The Dinner Experience, located in Palermo, Buenos Aires. The international team of guides are on hand to spoil and take you through every step of this fascinating culinary journey.

Choose from gourmet fillings and create your own empanada learning the traditional repulgue technique. Enjoy what La Boca Architecture many are claiming to be the very best steak in Argentina, cooked to order and accompanied with velvety mash potatoes and oven roasted vegetables, two distinct Malbec wines are chosen from boutique wineries in Mendoza. Learn about and enjoy unlimited wine throughout the dinner. For dessert, make your own alfajores and finally, learn about the history and etiquette of mate, Argentina’s national pastime and enjoy preparing it from scratch. Vegetarian, pescetarian and celiac options are available upon request. At the end of the evening, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

DAY 4: Buenos Aires to Mendoza

A private airport transfer with a professional driver and English-speaking guide is included (between Buenos Aires’ hotels and domestic airport or vice versa) Fly from Buenos Aires to Mendoza. Flight subject to changes based on availability. The flight duration is approximately 2 hours.

In Mendoza, relax on a private airport transfer and city tour with driver and English-speaking guide. On your panoramic city tour of Mendoza travel through city streets, mixing in the history and culture of the people who transformed this desert into a thriving oasis. Begin the tour where in 1561 Don Pedro del Castillo founded the city; The Plaza and the Museo del Área Fundacional (including the Jesuit ruins). Continue to the main square surrounded by the Cathedral and the Basilica of St. Francis. Visit both Independencia and Spain Plaza and later journey to the prestigious Emilio Civit street; a residential area that leads to General San Martin Park. This well-known park is over 370 hectares in size and is considered the heart of the city. Enter through the famous gates, the horses of Marly, Rosedal and Lake until we reach the Cerro de la Gloria, where the Monument to San Martín and his army is located.

Finish up the tour with a visit to Challao. The Virgin of Lourdes alongside spectacular views of the Mendocinian Mountains will leave a lasting impression of this beautiful city. A bottle of wine welcomes you on arrival at your hotel.

DAY 5: Mendoza

Enjoy a full day exclusive tour to three of the most important wineries of the region, Bodega Catena Zapata, Ruca Malen Winery and The Vines of Mendoza. Bodega Catena Zapata is widely recognized for its revolutionary owner and winemaker Nicolás Catena. He is known for introducing to the international wine community the true potential and quality of the Mendoza terrain. Argentina produces world-class wines, thanks to the Malbec grape in general and the wines of Nicolás Catena in particular.

Continue on a private visit to Bodega Ruca Malen, exclusively focused on making wines of excellence, based on their knowledge and above all, their passion for winemaking. The bodega visit will take you from the vineyards and sorting machines to the fermentation and aging rooms, offering an intimate glimpse into the wine making process from grape to bottle.

DAY 6: Mendoza

Approximately 60 minutes south of the city of Mendoza, the Uco Valley encompasses the highest altitude Argentine vineyards (averaging between 900 and 1200 meters above sea level). Known especially for Malbec, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Semillon, and Torrontes production. Its striking natural setting below a stretch of the Andes that includes the 6,800-meter Mount Tupungato. The valley’s dry weather and the wide thermal amplitude between day and night have created its distinctive microclimates that result in wines that are rich in color and ideal for aging. Enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the Andes as you are swept up in the tradition of the Old World and the excitement of the New World. Discover the unique characteristics of Tupungato’s terroir and the secrets of more than 125 years of winemaking tradition.

Andeluna Cellars winery and vineyard is in the Andes Foothills. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the classic architecture of the winery is surrounded by prime vineyards and magnificent views of the Andes Mountains. These beautiful surroundings create the perfect atmosphere to enjoy award winning wines.

Continue to Bodega Salentein where grand productions meet high style. Designed for both form and function in the shape of a cross. The Bodega’s two levels allow wine to flow from the tanks to the barrels by a traditional gravity transfer system. The four wings converge in a circular central chamber, which resembles an amphitheater and was inspired by ancient classical temples.

Enjoy lunch at either Salentein or Andeluna Winery (to be confirmed upon booking, depending on availability).

DAY 7: Mendoza

Enjoy a ride on gentle horses mounting to over 1700 meters above sea level. From here, you can appreciate mountain fauna, foothill roads and wonderful views of snowy peak hills over 5000 meters. Horses are equipped with leather saddles and soft wool woven on the loom, to provide an optimal service and for your comfort.

Enjoy a private roundtrip transfer with private vehicle, driver and English-speaking guide to the famous Francis Mallman restaurant in Mendoza. Dinner is at your own expense.

Francis Mallmann is one of Latin America’s preeminent chefs and his restaurants are well known for being stylish and elegant. Many say he is a cook, but his sense of taste extends far beyond food on a plate. Bon Appetit!

DAY 8: Mendoza to Buenos Aires

The Argentine National Immigration Directorate (DNM) has launched an online method of payment to enable payment of the reciprocity fee via credit card. Travelers can now pay this fee through the Provincia Pagos payment system.

US, Australian and Canadian citizens can pay the reciprocity fee before entering Argentina by accessing the following websites:

How can I pay the Reciprocity Fee Online?

1.Register at and obtain an entry code.

2.Complete the form including personal and credit card details. This information and the entry code will be sent electronically to the DNM.

3.After payment is processed, print the receipt.

4.Upon arrival in Argentina, go to the DNM Office and present the printed receipt.

5.The receipt will be scanned by DNM staff and the data will be validated to enable entry to Argentina.
